Exhibiting the AURA Brooder on our stand at the Pig and Poultry Fair paid dividends, with several turkey growers showing interest.
Last week we visited one of the growers, and by coincidence he was taking delivery of his turkey chicks in the afternoon. I had taken a brooder with me and was able to connect it up and demonstrate it's performance. After seeing and measuring the heat output of the brooder and comparing it to his existing brooders, he was impressed. Then came the unexpected opportunity. "Do you want to leave the brooder connected, and I will run it alongside by current brooders to see how it performs for the first week of the crop?" So there we are: the first field trial of the AURA Brooder.
Later the same day I received a text update : "So far so good with the brooder," along with this picture of happy chicks.
