The Zonda 60 is the smaller of the two heaters in the Zonda range. With a heat output of 60 kilowatts, this heater lends itself to smaller poultry houses, or larger poultry houses where biomass is the principal heat source that may require additional heat during initial warm-up or in very cold weather. A feature of the heater is the top-mounted control box. Easy removal of the lid gives access to the electrical controls. The control box and "chocolate block" wiring centre are easily accessible for maintenance and exchange of faulty components.
The exchange of components is easy. The rear-mounted fan is easily removed, giving access to the spark electrode and flame (ionisation) probe, whilst the overheat thermostat is accessed by a removable side panel. Safety is important, and an interlock between the fan and the burner is operated by an air pressure switch. As with all MarlisConcept heaters, the Zonda 60 is controllable by either an individual thermostat or by wiring back to the main house control panel.
